Hi! I'm Yu Jin (Yujin) Chang (장유진, pronounced /jahng yujin/).

I am an incoming Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Purdue University, starting in Fall 2026! Previously, I received my M.S. in Mathematics at Ewha Womans University supervised by Hyang-Sook Lee and Aaram Yun. I also earned a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S.E. in Cyber Security from Ewha Womans University.

I have a broad interest in cryptography which includes both theoretical and applied cryptography. In particular, my main focus is on lattice-based cryptographic primitives such as proof systems, digital signatures, and fully homomorphic encryption, as well as their security definitions.

In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and squash, as well as swimming and crocheting. I love dogs and cats—the ones in my logo are our furry family members.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions about cryptography research!
